I have built this room to explore connections between design history & theory and everyday life. Light-filled and open, it is my room for sharing ideas and sparking conversations about the designed world. Pull up a seat and join me!

Currently I’m an academic in a design world. While I started out my career in curatorial practice and then in interior design, for more than a decade I have been teaching history and theory to undergraduate design students. This work is by turns creative, scholarly, exhausting and enthralling. I have developed and taught courses in ‘Industrial Design Case Studies’, ‘Commercial Graphics’, ‘Furniture History’ I currently lead courses in the History of Interior Design, the History of Industrial Design, Design Theories, and Interdisciplinary Practices. My current research and teaching interests include History of the Designed Environment, Interdisciplinary Design Practice, Design Methodology and Theories of Design.
