I have built this room to explore connections between design history & theory and everyday life. Light-filled and open, it is my room for sharing ideas and sparking conversations about the designed world. Pull up a seat and join me!

Currently I’m an academic in a design world. While I started out my career in curatorial practice and then in interior design, for almost two decades I have been teaching history and theory to undergraduate design students. This work is by turns creative, scholarly, exhausting and enthralling. I have developed and taught courses in Interdisciplinary Practices, Industrial Design Case Studies, Commercial Graphics, and Furniture History, I currently lead courses in the History of Interior Design and Interior Design Theories. My current research interests include History of the Designed Environment and Design Methodology.
